Latest happenings!!!!

It's almost the end of my 1 wk march holidays and off I go back to school again. Been busy this week though it's supposed to be a HOLIDAY. :( Lesson plans and more lesson plans for the coming week almost done except maths to go...Just done with science, so am taking a break & decided to blog abit on recent happenings.

I have spent 2 weeks at St. Margaret's, among which I have already started teaching my P2 english. The start was difficult...I found it difficult to handle their chatty-ness, and I had problems trying to be at their level to teach them. For some parts, esp on grammar (which happen to be my weakest area) they cld not understand what I was teaching them...my CT had to step in to help me out...I felt so disappointed with myself....and I was really sorry to my CT for not being able to teach the girls well. One thing she told me really made me want to do better. She said "Do not let your weakness hamper your teaching. Try to put yourself in the shoes of these 8 year olds and teach them the way you think they would comprehend. And you never know, your weakness may well become your strength". As the 2nd week went by, I was more confident, the class and I are having more fun learning together.

Come next week, lessons will go in full swing...I would be teaching maths and science on top of english. I'm excited about it, yet scared...I hope to teach the students well.

ok enough of my lessons....strange thing happened to me last 2 weeks in school. As this school is anglician, we have chapel twice a week and a verse from the bible everyday. Last Monday, as I step into the hall as usual for assembly and chapel, a thought struck me. I was thinking to myself, did God send me to this school for a purpose? He wants me to know him all over again. Was this arrangement something that He had in store for me?? I can't explain...Anyone can explain to me?
