And the lessons had to end... ...

Yesterday was officially the last day of my 4 weeks ESE. How time flies isn't it?! Just when i was beginning to enjoy what i was doing, it had to end... ...I had both fun & anxiousness throughout these 4 weeks!!

Though it didn't start off well...Y? Coz there was a massive miscommunication(shall not say it...sensitive stuff u noe?!), and i missed school for the 1st 2 days. Just started teaching them english & maths last thurs. Initially was really terrible...they totally ve no respect for you. It definitely got better this past 1 wk...Yup yup...And i'm kinda enjoying being with them!!!Hahha...

Had observation on wed by HOD & she said it was quite well done...Phew! So glad...I was almost freaking out there in the classroom. But LOTZ of thanks to my mentor for the guidance he gave me esp. giving me ideas on how to deliver that lesson & the children loved it.

Topic was on this reading comprehension ("Movie of the Week"). So i got a movie trailer of Pirates of Carribbean to show them, then read them a review on it, followed by going thru' the WB with them. Coolness isn't it...There's just so much to learn about innovative learning... ...And teaching TODAY not like our time liao.

I appreciate this short experience they gave me though. At least it gives me an idea of how things will be like next time after graduation, and if tat's really the profession that i desire. And i guess u guys know the ans huh?! It's really REWARDING....how sweet some of them were, asking me if i was coming back again?! And i played hop-scotch with some of the girls during recess yesterday...HAHA...it was fun!!

Starting orientation at NIE next wk already...Looking forward to it actually. It's like a new beginning & a fresh start. the feeling is even more than when i started uni 3 yrs back. Feel more FRESHMAN than ever lor. I hope i really achieve smth for myself!!!Wish me luck!
